Title: Cnc wood cutting service in the UK?

Does anyone here know of any? A place where I could submit a diagram and get my control panel cut precisely.

Any help appreciated.

i'm looking into laser cutting ill let you know how that goes. if you do find anyone please post back or add them to the uk section of the wiki

I know thatitalian got some prices for having his cab CNC cut in the UK. I searched his PA but couldn't find any info. I'll point him in the direction of this thread to see if he can help out.

He quoted a fair price at £160+VAT for a full cab cutout + material supplied. Not sure how much it will be for just the CP.

Haha, with a little investigation last night I found that guy too!

Thanks for the info thatitalian.

Unfortunately the guy had come back to me saying that they only do big jobs etc...

What exactly is it you are after? I may be able to make it for you. I have some CNC milled templates that I use to template route CPs and button bezels etc and I can make anything fairly accurately.

Yeah, Mark got back to me and just said they only do big orders. I've replied saying I'd be prepared to pay a little extra but I've heard nothing back so far...

Franco b, oh man if you could I'd definitely be interested! Basically I've got a arcadedepot cocktail cab but its control panel doesnt work with the buttons and joysticks I've got so I need a new one made. I can't even start the cab till I've got the panel sorted! :(

Quickly put, I need a panel made up in 18mm plywood. It’s dimensions are roughly 54cm x 10cm and would require a number of holes drilled. I'd also need two section routed out underneath the buttons but I could possibly get that done by a friend.

If something like that sounds feasible for you please pm me and we can discuss getting you all the dimensions and costs.
