Title: New Deck Keyboard
Post by: blind_dado on August 06, 2009, 12:18:52 am
I just got a keyboard from Deck for use in my pull-out keyboard tray.  I was looking for something small and backlit.  It really does a nice job.  Here are some pics:

Here you can see the size as compared to the Logitech G15:

And this gives you an idea of how much room it takes up in the arcade machine:

You can also mod the keyboard in various ways, which is encouraged.  I got it here:

that is very nice...but then again for $119 it better be.  I just keep a cheap wireless keyboard connected to my cabinet that i pull out when i need it...which is just not very often.

that does look nice though

Yeah...the price.  But it was the last thing I needed to get to complete the machine, so I kind of splurged.  I end up using the keyboard quite a bit, because I'm always tweaking the software of the various emulators, etc.  Plus, I need it to play Apple ][ games like Zork and Snakebite!

Holy crap, I have a G15 too and that thing looks tiny next to it. Also backslash is in the normal spot and there's no two-line enter key. The skull is a nice touch, I like it.
