Title: Whats your favorite software for designing control panels?
Post by: drpcken on August 04, 2009, 04:34:15 pm
I'm sure the obvious answer is autocad, but does anyone have any hidden gems for accurately measuring and drawing out control panels ( or anything else cabinet related ) ?

Thanks!

I'm been using sketchup for my control panel design.  It's pretty easy to use an to get accurate measurements after watching the tutorial videos.

Bender is a heavy sketchup user. . I'd dig up some of his threads (Benderama for instance) for examples of how he is using it.
