I want to order an ArcadeVGA card but I want to be sure I order the right version that will work with my motherboard. I attached some pics of the motherboard - which ArcadeVGA card should I order and is there a difference?
I am using a Happ Vision Pro monitor mounted vertically and the goal is to run Donkey Kong and a few other classics (Pac-man, Frogger, Galaga, etc.) in their original resolutions to get the best looking picture possible...
Thanks!

If this is your motherboard:

it is PCI-Express.

Thanks. So what does that mean? I NEED to get the PCI version of the ArcadeVGA or it's just an option? LOL at my stupidity!

Yes, it means you will need the PCI express version, same one I showed in the review video in the review forum. PCI is the video standard before AGP...the current is PCI Express.

pci was first, then agp, then pci-e (pci express) so if you have a pci express slot then youll need a pcie card...

Get a descent and cheap PCIe card and then run soft15khz

If you want to do this, make sure and read the thread on cards that are tested and known to work properly. Hmm, I thought I had a link to this, but I can't seem to find it. Definitely worth finding though.

I have no idea what this means. I have ZERO computer knowledge and it's actually a minor miracle that I get MAME working on these things at all. If the ArcadeVGA is the easiest plug-and-play solution then it is worth the extra money to me...

You are right. I would just get the PCI-Express ArcadeVGA and be done with it. I've been very tempted myself and I'm a computer nerd. :)

Done and done. I ordered from divemaster this morning.... now look for me in a few days to be asking questions on how the heck to set it up!

I've configured mine about 10 ways to Tuesday so feel free to ask any/all questions. You have been more than helpful on the router front! :)
