Title: Hi scores, mala, mame plus ?????

OK, I've had a look around but cant find the answer. I read somewhere that hi scores were enabled in mame plus? I've been using mame plus for a year now and my hi scores havn't been saving. Do i need to enable it somewhere? does it only work with certain games? are these my feet?

I believe all you need to do is put the hiscore.dat file and hi folder in you mame plus folder.   So download hiscore.dat put that in your mame plus folder then create a folder right next to it named "hi".  Someone correct me if I'm wrong

I see, does it only work for games where you put your name in? i.e galaxian doesnt save hi scores because you dont enter a name.

I am not sure about mame plus, I use mame with the no nag screen & high score hack and as jbrem said put hiscore.dat and a folder called hi in your mame folder.

with mine hi scores are saved in mostly all games whether you enter a name or not.
