A girlfriend of mine has given me an old p3 laptop that was designed for windows 98 se, i even got the drivers from the oem site, now, i would like to turn this project into a dedicated old game in dos mame using  spystyle dos cd wich im allready using for a separated project, my question its , can native win98 drivers be used in dos? if so how? thanks for any help

if you're lucky, some sound drivers will work in a dosbox as some form of sound blasters. however, since you're already in windows, why not go windows all the way so you can take advantage of other hardware?

if you still want to go with DOS, probe your hardware with this and i'll see what i can do:
