I have a dedicated KI2, it worked till the board blew out, found out later the monitor had no isolation transformer (I never bothered to check cause it always worked) I havent had time or luck getting it working. Monitor doesn't turn on.
I put the good roms on the ebay board because the seller description indicated a bad rom, he never mentioned the scrambled pic.
It will come with the following:
-original broken KI2 board w/known bad rom set
-ebay broken KI2 board w/known GOOD rom set
-original known working KI2 hard drive
-ebay broken KI1 board w/ unknown rom set (has U98 rom to boot any hard drive)
-replacement KI1 hard drive unknown if working
-Killer instinct 2 kit booklet
-matching locks and keys for the coin doors
-27-29" Sony CRT TV, if you want it. I was gonna put an XBOX and this TV in it, but no desire to anymore.
Replacement KI2 board puts up a scrambled pic but has sound and doesnt freeze, passes the rom check and plays "blind". Both the KI and the KI2 put up a blue bar at the top of the screen; doesnt matter what roms are removed or if the hard drive is plugged into them.
I'm lookin for about 275 or I'd trade for a dedicated neo geo 2slot cabinet. I just need the cab, you can keep your mobo as I already have one and if its good shape I could toss some $$$$ your way to make it a fair deal. I'm also down for other arcade junk, or console stuff; I have a saturn, dreamcast,aes, xbox, xbox360 ,ps2,ps3,psp, DS,etc

I'm shocked that you are having trouble with this.
It's a top 10 fighter for sure
In my opinion there is not many other fighters that even come close, maybe CVM2 or MK2 but thats debatable.
Great artwork, this game has the whole package.
If you were closer I'd buy it and I just sold mine. :dunno
