Title: what is this spintrak part (screw?)
Post by: saleem on July 30, 2009, 09:29:05 am
i got my spintrak today and i bought the flywheel which came attached.the spintop was not, obviously thats because the spintrak needs fitting to the cp.now the flywheel is attached to the spintrak using 2 screws, they are allen key and they are screwins but,not screws.

it looks like i need 2 of these for the spintop.

if you look at the pic you can see the little holes these things screw into.

You mean a set screw?

McMaster Carr for sure but you ought to be able to get 'em at a local hardware store. Should be able to get it from your spinner supplier.

Shouldn't Andy have included these with the spinner kit?  The flywheel isn't much good without a way to attach it.

Absolutely these should have been included. I thought we had weeded out all the ones without screws but looks like we need to re-check.
If you can drop me an email I will send them.
