I was channel surfing the other night and stumbled on this on the Smithsonian channel. Very interesting clip! There was a part of this episode not shown in this clip where they mention that they keep some other arcade games in the Smithsonian. Who knew?

The dude shook Behr's hand with his gloves on, before Behr had his on. Did they catch that?

Why do they block the video for viewing outside the US ? Nuts ! It's a museum isn't it ?

Also notice how Baer didn't at all go along with the museum joke the dude was making. Hmmm. Baer = square?

Really?????? The Smithsonian is doing that? As it turns out my eventually to be brother in law works at the Smithsonian as the editor in chief of an online magazine for music they just started. I'll have to ask him if he was aware of this, I'm sure he would want to know that folks outside the U.S can't access his mag.

What's he supposed to do there? Does the guy have any musical training?

Yeah it's weird. I _can_ see the 2nd video that's hosted on youtube, but not the first video.
Instead I get this:

Yes he has a masters in Musicology I believe. He interned at the Smithsonian and has a lot of experience with networking, plus he is bilingual (which they were looking for in that position for some reason) My sister just earned her PHD in Musicology but so far hasn't been able to find a job yet... well apparently she's working as an adjunct professor at some college in DC. Right now, she's just another vagabond in the realm of academia.
