Trine is a physics-based action game where three characters allow clever solutions to challenges created by hazardous puzzles and threatening enemies. The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics - each character's different abilities and tactics can be used to invent new ways to overcome obstacles and save the kingdom!

The game is a 3 player co-op game that looks like it could be fun on a cabinet... Anyone know if the controls for this game are any good for an arcade cabinet?

From the video it looks like it needs a mouse (or at least analog controls since it's PS3 as well) for the drawing of objects. Apart from that, it looks tops!

Its not cab friendly has too many keys, you need both analog sticks when using a gamepad, or you need mouse/keyboard combo.

its requrie dual sticks and buttons. it was more designed to been used with a joypad rather than arcade controls.

also each player other the first player require gameport based joypads (just like Street Fighter IV and most other PC games).

If your cab has a trackball you can use as a mouse, it might work. But other than that, probably not.

you could probably get one person working with trackball + buttons for 1 player... but the second has to be a joystick I believe (what I tried it with)... then you could get a microsoft xbox360 wireless controller (what we used)...worked well

but you do need analog.  Fun game... good graphics... back cab game though
