Title: neo 2 way switcher cabinet to switch between 1 slot or 4 slot boards

alright, after failing to get MVS hooked up to a billabs multisync monitor I have a new project here, dedicated Neo geo.  I have heard multislot boards have trouble with the 100 in one cart, which pretty much sucks.  so my solution is to have a 1 slot and a 4 slot in the same cabinet and have it switchable.  picked up a 1 slot cab with the multicart included.  already have a working 4 slot and a neo/jamma adapter.  so next plan on getting a 2 way switcher to switch between 1 slot neo and 4 slot neo.  anyone else done this? 

the cab needs some work, cpo/plexi was awful, planning on replacing that and getting a marquee with slots for 4 minimarquees.  I'm not sure if I'll bother with having the light and game select button light up the selected game and whatnot yet.  at this point I'm sure I'm going to sand the control panel and toss the new cpo on there and replace the marquee, put new sticks/buttons on it and do some touch up painting, which should turn it into a pretty nice cab.  the sides have some plastic laminate stuff which is chipped a bit and whatnot, not sure if I'll bother with side art or not at this point.

looks like a good cabinet to start with.  should be a cool project, keep us posted

doesnt the 100in1 defeat the purpose of a 4slot?

you make me miss my neogeo cabs :(

this is my brother's machine and 2 of his favorite games are not on the 100 in 1.  magician lord and ninja combat. 

ordered up a marquee and cpo.  next have to decide if I want to strip off the black platic laminite, repair the wood, and paint it all red.

click the link for my 4slot resto, I repainted the sides of mine, almost perfect color match, color me lazy, but I'd rather just switch carts then wire up a second 2 slot/ 4 slot and a switch.
