Does anyone know the dimensions of this cab?
-
Yeah. big. ;D
If you're looking to create a replica, it's easily done using a PS1 and a couple of G-Cons, but you will need to use a tube TV to do it as they do not work with monitors or flat-panel TV's.

No, I just won the beast on ebay. Trying to work out if I need the car or the truck for the trip to Norfolk. ;D
Thanks anyway.

E-mail the seller and ask. I have much experience playing this game and can tell you it will not fit easily if at all in a car. You will need a van or truck to pick it up.

Want...
...Even if I already own all three games on PS1 and have six GUncons.
...I really should try painting those guncons pink and blue.

Found the manual. Seems it will fit in the car with the header removed. Thanks! ;D

I ordered solid black ones from Japan.
They look really nice compared to the gray/orange ones.

All the UK ones I have had were just grey - I never realised they went the same route with the G-con tips as they did on some other guns back in the day - like anyone mistook them for real guns...
I may build a dedicated PS1 light gun cab one day - with the TV recessed like the arcade version to avoid cheaters!

While true, all the arcade units Namco made, using guns of similar mold to the Guncon, used cotton candy pink and cotton candy blue, even for the Japanese units. I thought it'd be neat to disassemble the shells and pair the pairs to the same colors. It'd also help in differentiating which gun is for which player. I've seen at my events and cables getting coiled around each other, people sometimes get confused. That and, ya know, it'd be neat.
In that case, I think it'd be a LOT easier to repaint light grey plastic over black plastic. :)
