Title: X-Arcade forum? Interested? Noobs Unite!!!!
Post by: garnerb350 on July 23, 2009, 02:30:23 pm: This is a poll to see if we can have an "X-Arcade related forum".
This section would be about dealing with X-Arcade related subjects dealing from A-Z. Spare parts to artwork, modding, etc. I think that this would be an excellent source of information for us noobs to access and have on hand when we are incorporating X-arcade material into our cabs and or mame projects. Plus it can let other members know other x-arcade users...

If enough interest is shown...Hopefully Saint can grant us the dark wish...

Post by: Franco B on July 23, 2009, 03:48:57 pm: I don't think a separate forum is necessary but it may be usefull to create a thread (or maybe use this one) with links to other threads about X-Arcades. You could keep modifying the top post (and adding a post at the bottom to bump it) and add descriptive links to threads/info etc.

Something like:

If it is popular/informative it may get stickied.

Many people (me included) started off with an X-Arcade and I imagine it would be usefull to some people. This forum is Build Your Own Arcade Controls but if it was strictly that we would not have the restoration forum for example. Anything that give people more info and can reduce the amount of duplicate threads can only be a good thing.

Just my £0.02.

Hey no offense taken....
I just figured since a bunch of x-arcade users (noobs) such as myself and others have posted and searched for info dealing on the x-arcade( and the actual x-arcade site itself is like talking to Forrest Gump), it would be nice to have a section on it...I noticed that there is a section on SK jukebox & consoles...i figured hey why not...hell both ways it doesnt happen or not...i still love ya...

FrancoB just took the words out of my mouth....

There was a site that mentioned it but the pinouts were wrong. If we had a forum or a thread that was stickied we can then post this useful information and others like it.

How so? We try to cover everything in our Support pages, I think it's pretty thorough. So what experience made you say that?
