Title: Wire Buttons to U360 or IPAC
Post by: spjuenger on July 23, 2009, 10:53:39 am
I have two U360s and an IPAC2.  Should I wire the buttons up to the 360s or the IPAC.  From what I have gathered from searching the forum is that if I wire them to the U360 they will be treated as a gamepad and if I wire them to the IPac they will be treated as keypresses.  How will this effect MAME and the other emulators?  Is there benefit to going either way?

I would wire the buttons to the U360. If anything doesn't have support for gamepad, then you could use Xpadder or Joy2Key to emulate keystrokes.

Plus, if you want to play Street Fighter IV, you'll be set up for it.

I've got a diagram of how I wired up my CP with 2 U360 and an IPAC-2.  Maybe it will be useful to you, maybe not.
