Title: Is ArcadeVGA voltage 1.5V?
Post by: jimlab on July 10, 2003, 03:49:49 am
I searched, and read the thread on searching for voltage for another graphics card without any conclusion. I've already e-mailed Andy, but figured I'd ask here too.

According to a link in the other thread, the ArcadeVGA should be AGP 4x because of the configuration of the edge connector, which looks like this...

That would lead me to believe that it's a 1.5V card, but I'd like to be sure. The Asus motherboard I'm looking at upgrading to indicates that it could damage the motherboard if a 3.3V graphics card is inserted.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Andy will probably reply.  That edge connector could be either, however, the other thread also said that Asus boards will power up and just turn on a red LED if the voltage is incorrect.

I'd wait to hear from Andy, though.

Yes the ArcadeVGA is compatible with all AGP slots.
