Post by: G1zm0 on July 20, 2009, 03:10:53 pm
hi guys,
i built the x girfriend a pink mame cab , using a 15" pc lcd monitor (decased)
a pentium 4 3.2 ghz cpu and avga card .

after we split and a smashed the cab up (it was pink)  and took all the innings, screen ect , im thinking what should i do with it.

now with the arrival of the naomi emulator and some diecent games, i was thinking or a bartop naomi cab.

would the spec i got run the games ok?

or will it crash and burn.

is mame best way to run the naomi stuff or one of the more direct emus, better for the task

many buttons is naomi stuff?

In my experience with an Athlon 64 3200 running NullDC, which is pretty par with a 3.2Ghz Pentium 4, the answer would be: No

hmm ok , ell i will look in to getting a  dual core cpu, but dunno if that will be anygood if the emu runs on 1 core, hence lower speed .

Intel Core 2 duo 2.6 ghz or better, 512 nvidia graphics or better, 2 gig memory or better.

That will run naomi ok.

Trust me I have a few diffrent pcs and it is very resource intensive.
