Title: ROWE R-89 amplifier swap.

Aside from changing to higher wattage speakers, will any other changes need to be in place if I want to take out the existing amp in my R89 and change it out to a ROWE 61024903 amplifier@250 WATTS? Would it be plug n play? What about the crossovers? I like the diversity that this amp offers regarding the equalizer.

Hi Tim,

The amp should just plug in, the phono input is at the opposit end but the cable should be ok. All the other connections are the same as your 130 watt amplifier.

I would leave the speakers unless you have problems with them because I doubt that you will have it any louder in your location.
