Title: Sorting Roms
Post by: Visitor Q on July 15, 2009, 09:42:15 pm
I need to rebuild my Mame collection to sort all the light guns into one dir. Never did this before but I am figuring there is some way to achieve this with Clr Mame Pro?

Thanks to any that reply.

Romlister, baby!
Awesome little app. The Advanced queryies are a bit tough to grok, but for most of the normal stuff, it works a treat.

Is this the newest version?

Download it: build 018 - Released May 4th 2009

Does it have a homepage?

Also once I create a .csv file, how can I load that into Clr and rebuild? I can't find the option to load the file.  ???

Romlister homepage:

RL can move the files for you, have it make a batch file for output, then run that batch file in your roms folder.

Check the tutorials here:
http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/RL_tutorials

and look at the one on batch files.

The only reason to use clr is to either merge parent+child roms together to save HDD space, or to separate them out to make each .zip a complete game.
