Title: Speedball 2 in cab. Anyone?

Hello

Has anyone got speedball 2 in their cab launched by their frontend? If so, can you please share how you did this?

i use to have with Winuae wrapper in Maxiumus arcade it works with other 2

Yep, running it on Amiga and Sega Megadrive:

GENESIS / MEGADRIVE:

Mala

The Amiga is a tricky beast, go for the Megadrive version. It's only missing the "Ice Cream, Ice Cream" sample. If you can make it yourself when a player is stretchered off, it will save you some time ;-)

That's the first I've heard of it! I've got Speedball 2100 but hadn't been following this development. I visited the site but all the download links are broken :-(

Is this a standalone game?  It sortta looks like a Unreal Tournament mod...

Thanks for replies.

I got it going thanks to some help from someone on English Amiga baord.

using Amiga version in Winuaeloader 1.7 via command line:

winuaeloader -mode whdload -game "speedball2_v1.0.zip"


Needed to add

<Game Name="Speedball 2 - Brutal Deluxe" FileName="speedball2_v1.0.zip" ScrnshotFilename="S/Speedball2.png" UseMouse="False" PalNTSC="0" Cd="dh1:speedball2;" WHDLoad="speedball2.slave PRELOAD;" UAEConfig="collision_level=playfields|cpu_speed=real|immediate_blits=false|cpu_compatible=false|cpu_cycle_exact=true|blitter_cycle_exact=true" />

to the WHDload.xml file to get it to appear in list and work but. Dont know what that had to do with loading it via command line but its working!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone here using WinUAE Loader with the WHDLoad set, has edited their whdload.xml file to include all or most of the missing games succesfully?

Specifically I'm interested in adding Speedball 2, Xenon 2, Legend of Kyrandia, Frontier, Kick Off 2, and Mega Lo Mania, but I'm not sure what to do. If someone could send me their whdload.xml, that'd save a lot of hassle.

I have added all your requests to WHDLoad.xml, you can download it here:

All tested and working fine here, they will appear at the bottom of the list in: WinUAELoader 1.73/Run ROM

If you can provide me with a list of missing titles, I will add them all.
