I'm contemplating a layout that will work for Smash TV, etc, where there are two players with two sticks each. I'm not sure that I want to spend the money on 4 Ultrastiks. . .is there a good look and feel match for the Ultrastik? I'm planning on using the Ultrastik with a ball top, and I'll likely end up with the 8-way or circular restrictor on it.
Thanks!
Gary

Sanwa JLW is the same top as a U360.
I purchased a replacement Sanwa JLW bat from lizardlick to use on one of my U360s.

I second mlalena's comment. I use two Sanwa sticks to compliment my two U360s and have them placed so that I can play robotron and smash TV.

I've got two u360's with two Happ Supers. The balltops (red) are not a prefect match but pretty close.

in fact the U360 is a modified JLW so just get a couple of those and you can even trade parts and use the same routing template

Excellent! Thanks for the info. Even uses the same restrictors! I think this is my lucky day. :) Given the same restrictor, etc, do they feel pretty similar to the U360?

Well, there will be the obvious difference of the feel of microswitches on the JLW vs no switches at all on the U360. With the same springs and restrictors, the switch/no switch feel should be the only difference.

Oh how I wish there were a GGG micro-leaf that would work with the JLW. :) (Well, in theory. . . I haven't actually tried a micro-leaf yet. Will put an order in soon.)

Micro-leafs aren't really made for joysticks, however, it appears RandyT has a new product that might just do the trick! Awesome new item!

Oooh, nice. Works with joysticks too! I may have to get some of those. Looks like I have a huge order with Ultimarc and GGG coming up soon. I also need to get some leaf buttons from Bob Roberts for my Defender machine to replace the springs. FUN! :)

just FYI...it is my understanding the the ultimarc J-stick is in fact a sanwa JLW.

Seems right. Looks exactly the same. I wonder if there's anything different once Andy gets ahold of them.

It says on his page that it's a JLW and that he mods them so that you don't need a tool to switch between 4 and 8-way.

Ah, well there you go. I've never had much interest in them, so I didn't see that.
