A month ago I got a 2slot Neo Geo machine. The tube that came with it is good (I swapped chassis,) but the chassis that came with it won't power on. I couldn't find any loose solder joints, but I found some bad traces. I also notice the C piece (I don't know the appropriate name) on the fly back is pretty loose and I know it's not supposed to be loose period. Does this mean the flyback is bad, or should I look else where to fix the problem?

Is the fuse blown?
That solder work looks awful, but it could be the picture. I also see what appears to be at least one cracked joint in the upper left of that picture.

That was one of the first things I check, so the fuse is good. The solder work is terrible, and thankfully I had nothing to do with that, so I'll correct that. The cracked joint your talking about, where is it? I don't have an eye for these things yet.

If that area of bad solder stuff is where I think it is, then it's a pretty common area to get hot due to high wattage resistors and such. I would definitely clean all that off and repair the traces if need be and do it over again.
Check the H.O.T. too.
Cold solder joint.....
