Anyone been following the new season of Torchwood. It is 5 episodes in 5 days and has been quite entertaining. Looking forward to the finding out how it pans out in the 5th episode.

Wait, what? New torchwood eps? I havent heard anything about this. Who did they get to replace the dead charactors? Is Gwen cooper still in it?
Looks like I will have to wait until a day after the 5 eps end and torrent it, as I dont have TV :<

WOW! Just finished watching the 5 eps (thanx to 3 eps via torrent, and the rest on the metube). WOW! This is MUCH better than the 2 TV series seasons. At about 12 minutes to the end of the miniseries, I was a little dissapointed, thinking they were ending it like some crappy TV series ending, but then they kicked the story back up with a few new twists that totally sealed the deal with this being one of the best set of eps of any TV series I have seen in a LONG time!
Hmm, thoughts anyone about if there even CAN be anything more for torchwood?
All we have left is Gwen (and of course her wife husband, as well as the girl who wore the contacts that gave them the info about what was happening). Maybe Gwen can restart tourchwood in her own image???

The ending seemed to leave it open. Maybe a different Torchwood will be back with Gwen and Lois and who knows who else. Best 5 Torchwood episodes that I have seen.

Hmmm thanks for the unannounced spoilers (not).
To be honest, I've always a bit ambivalent about Torchwood. It's been a bit patchy in the past, mostly watchable but rarely that great. It can't seen to decide whether it is a Dr Who spin off (i.e. basically a kids show) or something far darker and more adult.
I watched a few of the episodes from the earlier series and it definitely appeared to be improving. But then they went and killed off the only character that I really liked (Toshiko) so I stopped watching altogether.
However, I've been hearing from a lot of people (including the kinds of people who wouldn't normally be in to Sci Fi/Horror) that the new series has been surprisingly good. So I might have to check it out.

I had wanted to, but hadn't found the time.
Now that I have...
Wow...the 5th ep was ten kinds of f'd up. The scene with the guy and his family really choked me up. Makes me wonder what I'd do in a similar situation.
And Jack at the end...whoa.

I am totally sorry for informing you that everyone in torchwood (except gwen) dies. And that Jack ends up leaving Earth. Also, Gwen is preggers and decides to keep the baby, and torchwood Cardith is destroyed by the UK gov. Also, I am sorry I told you about how the US gov forces its way into controlling UNIT as the UK gov was withholding pertinant info on the 456.
Oh almost forgot, am sorry for having already told you that Jack's loverboy had the torchwood Range Rover stolen...

Party Monster is evil, do not watch it & yes it was related to the stereotypes.
Which by the way exist for a reason, if stereotypes were not true then old people wouldn't suck at driving so badly.

I just PMed Saint, and suggested that your custom title be changed to "if stereotypes were not true then old people wouldn't suck at driving so badly.". So don't be suprised if your custom title is something you yourself said. Besides, it is worthy of custom title-tude.
Oh, and yeah, wont be watching that movie...
Edit: Sucking at driving badly does not mean driving goodly! >:D
