Title: gp-wiz help
Post by: mcorben on July 10, 2009, 02:12:57 pm
I bought a whole console from someone and it uses gp-wiz. The problem is I want to map some of the keys, like for pinball the side ones. I downloaded the software v.3 and when I run it, it tries 5 times and says it can't connect. Not sure what to do from there. There is talk on the Groveygamer site about maybe a switch but there is none on mine.

Anyone know how to get in or what might be the problem?

The GP-Wiz is a gaming controller, not a keyboard controller.  You want a 3rd party app like RB-Joy or Joy-to-Key for pinball buttons needing a keystroke.

Email if you need a link to the software.

OMG, I was going completly in another direction. I got it now.

Thank you very very much. The guy who sold it to me would respond to emails after I bought it so I didn't know what to do.

Thanks again
