Title: EmuMovies Q's
Post by: FrizzleFried on July 10, 2009, 10:01:47 am
Anyone know if EmuMovies will be updated anytime soon?  Anyone know of a good way to contribute to the project?  I'd be happy to take some vids if I knew how.... the in-MAME system isn't the most optimal for many of the newer games... they come out 1/4 the size of the frame and VERY VERY slow... anyone know how to get past these limitations?   I'd love to help work on an update pack if I knew how.

Thats a good question. I can tell you that Circo would love the help. I use camtasio studio. Circo has been spending alot of time making pinball videos for hyperspins "hyperpin" fe. I have been making some Sega Naomi videos. There is a User Submitted Video Section on the Emumovies FTP and if you can contribute it would be great.

THere have been updates on the FTP still mostly FLV conversions for HyperSpin,  I have been working on a few projects.

#1 Keno has basically finished the PSX video set I am just working on edits and finalizing the set.

#2 I have spent the last couple of months on HyperPin and sorting out all of this fancy new capture hardware I acquired to do it.

#3 Dreamcast - Since I got my extremeHD 2 computer capture set up I can now actually capture these in vga mode without frame loss and sound issues.  (Brian, I did a naomi set a few months ago with the same framerate and sound problems I just mentioned, now I could probably do a perfect set in one night.  Have there been any more images released?)

I know a mame update is in order and soon, all I can say is that I will try to knock one out as soon as this HyperPin thing is sorted out.  BTW I use Fraps for mame captures.
