have a few problems:
i first used gameex which worked like a charm:
now with MA i have afew issues:
1. when i boot mame it sets the mame reso to the MA resolution but i want it in 320x240 adding command line to MA does not work
2. same thing for visual pinball it forces its own resolution that MA issues that's not what i want
3. when launching zsnes all i get is a black screen then nothing , returning back to MA works
hopefully anyone can help, stupid MA forums have waiting for the admins to send you activation email
-
welll it seems to make everything in vertical resolution even visual pinball and zsnes
-
well the good thing of gameex was it had the option show desktop i think this gives free the use of the lower 320x240 reso , maximus arcade runs at 640x288 and will try that reso for programs its starts which gives my problems ..

Why did you change it if gameex worked so good?

Why did you change it if gameex worked so good?
There is also a MA skin For GameEx.
-
ow really?
where because on the gameex site i cannot find this theme
well i switched because MA was a little more simpler then gameex pure only for emulators and such.
i did not know of the MA skin for gameex .. i can search for it on there site in a few sec...
well hopefully someone at the MA forums can help me ..
-
well fixed it partialy
i disabled changeresolution but now one other problem arrises:
the theme for MA is to big for my monitor .. how can i program MA so that i can use the change resolution future for the theme but tell it to let go of the reso when switching to an emulator ?
-
To be short:
Gameex can use its one resolution of 640x288 for the frontend but when starting mame or some other emulator it releases its own resolution then switch back
to the windows reso and then start the emulator, hopefully MA can to this also because it rocks
thanks for your help

hmm not sure what you mean, that's what disable resolution does
you can set the theme resolution to whatever you want, when you launch the emulator it will be whatever resolution you wet it to outside of maximus arcade
