Title: Help on hacking Interact Quantum Fighterpad Controller on Dreamcast

I had been looking for answers online all night, the only available picture for the hack is no longer available....

Does anyone know how to hack the pad's left and right analog triggers into digital buttons?

I'm currently hooking the pad up to a jamma cabinet, and just found out 2 extra buttons at front are useless..... :(

Hmm... never actually hacked that one, I don't know if it is even hackable.

I always use official and MadCatz pads for Dreamcast

this pad is retarded and never worked for me. I forgot exactly what was wrong with it but it had something to do with the shoulder buttons. AVOID.

get the official dc pad or madcatz.

ya, this pad is pretty retarded for sure, button 4 and 6 are not L and R triggers.

the triggers uses horizontal potemeters, and I'm having problem figuring out how to use it with common ground to activate the triggers....

Oh, if it has horiz pots you can give up now.  The astro (performance) DC pad uses the same ones.  Unhackable.

The Mad Catz pad is the way to go, though I can't bring myself to hack one, due to them being about the best pad for the system, in my opinion.  It's probably that pad's fault that I favor the Duke on Xbox over the Controller S.

Most everything I've read about the Quantum is that the extra face buttons mimic two existing face buttons, leaving them hackable but useless as far as the extra two buttons go.  However, I've seen mention of them being programmable in the same manner as the Mad Catz pad.  Not sure, really.

I've hacked my Agetec stick, so I'll just be using the existing board as a separate encoder.
