Title: RGB to VGA
Post by: gevauna on July 08, 2009, 08:19:34 am
I want to put a flat screen monitor into my 1995 virtual fighter 2 cabinet.  Is it possible  to use a cable adaptor to go from the three color wires (Red Blue Green) to a VGA port on a flat screen monitor using the already made cable or will the standard computer monitor still have issues converting the signal?

Use the search LUKE  ;D
search there are DVI-COMPONENT and VGA-COMPONENT Cables make sure that it will work with your Videocard. Also u can buy AGP/PCI card with Component output. That RED GREEN BLUE is component video output.

Thank you for your reply.  I am really new to this stuff.  The monitor is out completely in the arcade cabinet and I don't have access to see what the computer is doing much less have a key board to access the computer.  How do I go about hooking up a keyboard to search for LUKE.  Sorry you have to dumb it down a bit for me.  First timer here and just getting my feet wet.
