anyone repair space invaders part 2 3 board set in uk.

just need a proper quote/estimate on repair cost.

it will probably have to be something i can print out as i got claim in with royalmail for damaging the boards in transit,when they get the quote they will payout and the work should be yours,or perhaps the boards depending on how they payout.

the boards are with them so i cant provide them to you.just an estimate,how much a board and estimate on parts.

I'm quite envious. Sounds like your SIP2 was in far more complete shape than mine was.

This is the only board that was in my cab when I got it.

Keep me in the loop about your boards.
I might wanna buy them off you (if you're willing to sell).
I want my SIP2 to be a restore once I can MAME out a different cabinet.

that will have been found on the left hand side if you looked through the cash door or the right if you entered the cab from the rear.

there are schecmatics which will tell you what the boiard was for.

the space invaders part2 board is a 3 board set,quite big.

all i need now is a quote that i can submit to royalmail and then they will payout based on that quote.

dont you even have the original controls for it,a ball top joystick that just gos left and right and a single fire button and 2 buttons for 1 and 2 player,the buttons are just plain white.i got the original ones from when it was manufactured.

Yeah, I have the original controls.
I also have the monitor, but I was never able to test it. (Still have it)

I only had the one board, the bezel, the controls, monitor, PS + switch, speaker... I've kept everything. I want to restore it one day.
I have scans of the marquee and control panel, so if worse comes to worse I can vector them and get them remade.

You might try posting this on the KLOV forums (http://forums.arcade-museum.com/index.php), they have a Repair and Help section for arcades.

i no longer need the repair quote any more as royal mail agreed to reinburse me to the amount of a replacement set and postage costs i lost.also they are sending me the boards back.
