Title: MAME racing out of old sega parts?

Ok, So I have the marquee, seats w/speakers, steering controls/panels and monitors from an old Sega Super GT. I didn't have the time to gut the pedals and was not allowed to take the boards. SOOO, how plausible would it be to build a cab for these controls and get a MAME setup for some racing games? If even possible, I would have no idea howto go about getting original sega steering controls set up with a PC. Any ideas?
