Hi all, this is not a project announcement it's just a pic of my cab as it turned up a couple or so weeks ago.
It is now sanded and primed, has a new base ( soggy and falling apart ) and coin mech, front door and controls taken off.
Just wanted everyone to see it as it was. It's going to take a long time ( no funds ) to finish but it's nice to be able to make a start.
I have another cab arriving this weekend which I'll take pics of. It's much bigger. This little one will have a 19" vertical, the other is going to be 25" horizontal.
My 10c worth. LOL :)
P.S. It only cost me NZ$60 delivered ( that's about US$25 or UK 17 pounds ).
P.P.S I did try to post this a couple of weeks ago but I screwed it up so please forgive me if you have already seen it.

Love that style of coin mech. It's typically seen quite a bit more on cocktails here in the U.S. than on uprights, but very retro... Good luck on your project!

Thanks bud, I love it to. Especially when I thought I was buying just an old cab and it turned up with fully working coin mech with wiring and microswitches plus fully working Street Fighter control panel ( although I'm going to mangle it and build my own control with 1x8 way and 1x4 way PacMan/Galaga stick ).

Wow battle tech
That's a sweet deal on a cab. Keep us posted on how the job goes.
Best of Luck,
