Hrm. They could get the guys who did Star Trek to do it. They could just cut and paste all the scenes of random space stuff floating around. That would fill nearly 45 minutes.

His ship only fires one bullet at a time and he can't fire another one until the first bullet is "done". Throw in a ton of 80's video game references and ya got yourself a nice little niche movie that will fail at the box office, but we here will love. :)
