Title: Kortek KTX26 - Sync Drift
Post by: DarkSide on July 02, 2009, 11:15:44 am
Hi guys, just started a new project with a Sega Rally sitdown cab, and a Kortek KTX26 Chassis.

Everything is working just fine, except that i cant get a stable sync lock on the kortek chassis, after around 10 secs  the picture starts to roll, and it takes a good deal of fiddling with a V-Hold pot to get it stable again.

Didn't do a cap kit yet on the chassis, it would be nice getting that sync drift fixed first :)

Any ideas ?

Regards
Ronni

this may sound silly....but try letting it warm up  first before you adjust the hold...
give it like 5-10min then adjust it and see if it holds...just something easy to try....no promises. ;)

Already tried that.

But thanks for the suggestion :)

Fixed, a 5kohm resistor between vertical sync and video ground fixed the problem :)
