Title: change windows XP system font globally
Post by: krick on June 30, 2009, 07:01:12 pm
I was wondering if there was an easy way to globally change the default windows XP system font.

Interlaced text is impossible to read on my arcade monitor, and I was thinking that using a bold font may help.

Is it possible to replace tahoma by renaming another font to trick windows into using it globally?

You can just set the fonts to whatever you like.

Control Panel > Display > Appearance tab > Advanced button

Good luck.

I know about that way.  I wanted to be able to change the font globally for EVERYTHING at one time.  I figured that the default windows system font must be stored in a registry key or something that I could change.
