Title: WTB: 2x .984 coin mechs [Comox Valley, BC, Canada]
Post by: bleargh on June 30, 2009, 04:46:27 pm
Looking for a pair of .984 coin mechs, to mount on a Happ over/under coin door.

Scored a Super Chexx bubble hockey the other week on Craigslist  ;D, but need to put some coin mechs in it before my kids start feeding tokens into the slots and losing them in the base.  :o

So you are gonna make your kids buy tokens to play?? Excellent entrepreneurial skills!  ;)
Have you tried checking out John's Jukes in Vancouver? Might be a little ways from you....but you should be able to give him a call to make sure he's got them.
I saw the hockey game on CL and was wondering how long it would last, congrats.

I was thinking allowance myself, but *buy* tokens.. hmm....

I'm sure he's got'em, but I figured I'd post and ask here first to see if anyones got a set of used ones they'd be willing to part with.  It'd be a whole lot easier to ship'em than to make the ~4hr drive each way to Vancouver.  :o

Lasted all of about 30mins... I talked to him just after he posted it, and made arrangements to meet him the following day (the earliest in his schedule).

I'll have to take some pictures of it... its worn, but still in good shape; I'm REALLY happy considering what I paid for it.  All I have to figure out now is how to get the players off so I can swap out the gear boxes... one needs replacing but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the players off...
