Red Alert 2 is great. It is one of my favorite games.

On that note, I will also say that Command and Conquer: Generals is way too under appreciated.

Sorry, I have no idea about the arcade game.

OK enough with the EA Red Alert tangent (I loved the game too  ;)).

I have a lead on a non-working Red Alert. It's missing rom board, control panel, bezel and marquee. The bezel and marquee are available from QuarterArcade, but finding a control panel, or overlay or even reference media is near impossible. Part of the problem is "Red Alert" the EA game is so popular, it clutters up Google searches for the arcade game. Add to this the fact that GDI is the arcade manufacturer and in EA's game the good guys are known as GDI too!!!

I played the game in MAME and it's not that good, but the seller says everyone else is looking to MAME and paint it!

Hope this helps some.  I see Jon Exidy has one, maybe he has leads on parts, or even some himself?

I just declined it. I have to stop thinking of these things as if I were saving drowning puppies or something  ;D   They are just wooden boxes...   right?  :dunno

Its up to the seller to try and avoid that I think otherwise you'd be stuck with games just sitting there.  If anything the seller should set aside what he can for a restoration someone might work on in the future.

You get a brownie point for trying though.

But that's a wooden box you could have called your very own.  :'(
