Title: Converting Keyboard Presses into a Gamepad?
Post by: Aabra on June 19, 2009, 11:37:45 pm
Most PC games that support Hotseat action have a wonderfully friendly controller selection screen.  It thinks that there is no way on earth that you would want more than 1 player using the keyboard at the same time!  While this is true most of the time.... for people who use an ipac, multiple players using the keyboard is a must!  A GPWiz isn't much better as all controls will be registered under the *same* gamepad.  Or can you split them into multiple gamepads with this controller?

See the screenshot below for the configuration of Mashed (amazing 4 player game)  - I have 2 gamepads currently connected and there's no way I can get the option for a 4th player.  When I build my system is 4 U360 joysticks the *only* way I'll be able to play 4 players on this game?  I was wondering if there was a software alternative that turned keystrokes into gamepad buttons.  The reverse is quite common (xpadder etc) but I've never heard of going the other way.(http://)
