WOW that looks amazing. I totally dig the CP, sideart and marquee - this looks like a real arcade game! ;D And I forgot if you mentioned it or not - where did you get the sideart printed(not kinko's right?).

that's the first time i've seen side art on a custom-built arcade cab... looks pretty sweet... all i gotta say now is... I HATE YOU!!! (j/k)... mainly cuz i still don't have a cab of my own and i have to jealously look at everyone else who has a cab (especially yours) and drool.... heheh good job by the way...........

umm...I cant use my magic power and imagine how you want it..send me the source images and I will put it in a background or something for your small stick. :)

the panel itself is not slanted.the cab design is like that I believe.
the place where you put the panel is slanted(slight).
would have been a mess trying to make a slanted panel with 16 angles then trying to laminate it. :-\
I just followed CP's UA 2 arcade.
Never used the plan though...

I know people dont like the dude for selling the plan(one reason or another) but the prints came out decent.
If you do then yours would be perfect...since vector owns.
both sides were only $100 and I honestly thought it was a deal considering kinkos quoted me like $125 per side on heavy weight matt paper(OUCH :-[).

Can easyly be done if you decide to build the 2 piece cabinet.
Atleast you can print something for the top part at a reasonable price. :)

you could do the same for your cabinet no problem. :)
So are the screw heads visable from the outside or have you used some sort of finishing cap for them?

No worries on the HTML or the cabinet. Once again, I remind everyone that this is free enterprise. That is what motivated me to make mine...and that is why I make my art and experience available to others in email and on my site.

Put a preloader script on the front of your flash intro.
Check out flashkit.com for some free ones.

Just so you know,I didnt rip the HTML of your site.
It had all kinds of stuff and I didnt know what they were.
Like a zillion lines,boxes,this that... :o
I just made a simple page with frames.
For the artworks...all about sharing.Uploaded whatever I had :)

Sometimes it doesnt load when bandwidth runs out(free hosting :-\).

I did the flash intro, and the preloader does work, if its not its because of bandwidth. The preloader I made was very very simple, I could have made one with percentages, but I made it in about 5 minutes. I used the two frames method, where the first frame checks IfFrameLoaded("scene2", 580): goto Scene2:1 then on the next frame Goto: scene1, 1 which essentially loops the little animation until its loaded, aka preloader. Most of the time spend on the preloader was getting the centipede gif to go in and out of the circle.
Btw, if anyone else wants an intro, PM or email me, cause I've got some free time before I'm off to japan this sunday, services are free, and it'd be nice to get some name recognition around here ^_^

View your file in the badwidth profiler it appears its frontloading something big. Causing the "freeze" state. If you need any flash pointers let me know I make flash movies all day every day.

I don't believe Flash 5.0 has a bandwidth profiler, I might be wrong though. This is actually the first time I've ever had one of my flash animations do the white screen thing when bandwidth is low. It should start directly to the preloader, because that's the first scene I have on there. I learned how to make preloader's from flashkit.com when I first started working with flash, and all of the ones I've made so far have been fine. Hmm..
