Title: Monitor blues
Post by: zmo on July 07, 2003, 12:56:43 pm
I have a arcade monitor hooked up to a computer running with a ms-dos operaing system...ecept all I get it a blue screen and some lines.
Ms dos is conigured to run on a vga setting if you need to know.
the monitor cable has 5 wires and the monitor has six(might be the problem

Tell us what your connected from your PC card to which monitor inputs and perhaps someone can make a guess at what might be wrong.  Did you do the standard VGA cable hack from the PC to Jamma Site and what video card are you using with which programs loaded to give you arcade output.  What exactly do you mean by a vga setting?  What res and what freq are you sending to the arcade monitor?
