Title: Lost my "Enter" button in MAME settings !!

Setting up my mame controls in the Menu - (Input (General) / User Interface.  I wanted to have corresponding keys on the control panel for Enter(UI Select), Tab(config menu screen), Escape, Pause but I somehow lost Enter and nothing happens when i press it on the keyboard or the button i had it mapped to.
I was trying to get it so that I could press either the enter key on the keyboard or the CP button. I did this with the Tab key,although now i have to press Tab on the keyboard,and the button i mapped it to both in quick succession. But i can't press enter to go into the menu to change any of the settings. How do i get my Enter back?

If it helps any,the MAME version is 0.113u2

Delete cfg\default.cfg in your Mame folder and reconfigure everything again. Or you could try editing it manually in notepad.

Great I knew there was a thing somewhere but couldnt think of it. Done. thanks !!
