Title: pictures waves & breathes
Post by: pinballwizard79 on June 11, 2009, 10:26:17 pm
I have a picture that moves just a little bit, like its breating or warping in & out just a little bit.

It sucks.

Any ideas on the cause?

I thought interference but that doesn't seem to be the case.

LCD's of 32' are like $325 now @ Costco, it may finally be time.

Sounds like it may be a B+ voltage issue. (?)
Like it's a tad low or something.

Could be a bad cap.
Main filter cap possibly.

Is everything grounded real well?

Is this on your 33" WG ?

Meh never mind, I am just gonna throw this away & go LCD flat panel with a 5 year service plan.

Ive already had to have a new pot installed, prior to that the board was shipped out for some cap work, the power supply fan seems to run a lot, the resolution sucks, its dangerous to calibrate & dealing with graphic cards or a UVC is getting tiring.

CRT = headaches.

LCD = a half decade minimum of hi res for a mere $350
