Title: Error "Ultrastick #3 should be plugged in , but cannot be found" ??!!
Post by: ARTIFACT on June 06, 2009, 03:12:17 am
The title says it all

I have TWO U360 joysticks... Worked perfectly, then I switched PCs in my cab (check my sig for project!! :) )

and now this...

I tried "scanning" from the UltraMap program
It DID have a 3rd listed as plugged AT FIRST
When I ran the scan, it correctly marked #1 and #2 as plugged, only

Would MALA be "stuck" with the previous setting, and not be aware of the latest "scan" from Ultrastick?

This error appears ALL THE TIME ... starting mala, start game, end game, end mala (ggghh)

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!!!

This is not MaLa complaining.  It is the ultrastick mapper plugin.  Even more correct, it is UltraMap, which the plugin calls.  Fix the error with UltraMap, and this error will go away.

Good luck.

Oh I forgot to post the result

I somehow got it to work :)

It WAS something in the UltraMap software... it wasn't an obvious thing. Cant remember how I fixed it :)

Was it the 'require this joystick to be connected' or similar checkbox that you then unchecked?   :)
