I am in the process of building the Mario Bros widebody cabinet from the plans on Jakobud's site... at least 3/4 finished when I noticed that the plans are very much wrong...
(I have since found threads on this site dated over 2 years old that point this out, yet there is still no change on J's site - I have tried sending a message through his site and get a failed message each time).
If anyone has a dedicated Mario Bros - I need to know the height of the bezel glass and the height of the marquee. I am going to try and customize this cabinet to fit the original parts and just finish it like a stretched out DK style cabinet with MB trim.
Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thanks!

I have one.
Wouldn't you want to know the measurements of the actual cab though? It is not only wider than a standard DK cab, but it is taller and the CP is alot higher on a widebody cab than on a standard DK cab.

Those are the differences that make it so much un-like the Jakobud plan... A Mario Bros widebody is actually more similar to a Punch-Out than a Donkey Kong...
I would want all the measurements if I didn't already have it 3/4 built... unfortunately, all that is left of the outside is putting in the control panel, bezel and marquee. I don't want to start over, and it is a pretty cool looking cabinet for a mame machine, so I am still happy with it. This is more of a roadblock than a showstopper. I just plan on retrofitting the Jakobud plans to fit a real MB CP, bezel and marquee.
If you could measure those for me I would be very grateful! Thanks!

I've been asking/looking for the exact plans for Mario Bros. for years with no luck.
It's like everyone with a Mario Bros. cabinet treat the measurements like they're classified secrets.

I am finding this out myself...
But, just so anyone who finds this thread using the search function doesn't have to leave empty handed:
The CP (I have found) is 26.5 wide.
The bezel plexi is 26.25 X 21.75 (according to Bob Roberts).
