I just scored a Logitech Wingman steering wheel and pedals from a yard sale for $15US. Do any Mame racing games utilize the shake on the steering whee? I think as a kid I remember playing games that shook when you crashed but I could be wrong. Or have any been hacked to support this feature?

I think you need to use MAME Hooker to get that kind of output working. There is some kind of output system that the MAMEdevs were working on, but I haven't paid any attention to it. So, it's possible this is an option directly in MAME now.

Would love to see this working in Outrun.

I tried getting it to work. The actual arcade is out of town, runs XP, and I test things on my machine, which uses Vista :badmood: So, it may be that I'm using Vista and it isn't compatible. The program worked but I don't really understand what I have to do to activate it for each game. It says something about writing a script but that's out of my range for sure. It also said a file or two was missing when I fooled around with the options, but I don't know what the files were off hand.

God, I hated that. It was totally disturbing. Love the game, though.

Some years ago someone sent me a copy of Final Burn Force Feedback and it worked great for Outrun and the Logitech Wheel. I've even sent it to a few people on here, but I do wish it was up and working for all games in MAME now.
