Title: Gauntlet Dark Legacy? Is it getting better?

With the newer releases of Mame and newer computer tech is the game getting any better?  What currently is running this game in stock.  Not over-clocking, but stock what motherboards and CPUs are running this thing.  I really miss the game.  Xbox version is cool, but it is not Backwards Compatible with the Xbox 360 which stinks!

Seems to work fine with MAME x64 on a dual core machine.

I don't think there is currently anything available that will run it stock. I am at 4Ghz an it is playable, but there is a little slow down at times.
