Title: Wiring and related supplies - where to buy?
Post by: SG Jaycurl on June 01, 2009, 04:53:01 pm
Can anyone recommend an online store to buy wire (24 awg) and related components like crimp-on connectors, terminal strips, etc. I'm hoping I can find a place to get a better deal and have better inventory than Radio Shack.

Sorry if this was covered elsewhere but I searched the forums and wiki and didn't see anything specifically about it.

Jameco, jameco.com
JDR Microdevices, jdr.com
McMaster Carr, mcmaster.com

You can also buy from the Hong Kong Ebayers. They always have amazing deals on components but can take weeks to get here. I picked up 12 pushbuttons for $10 shipped (little guys, not the arcade ones) in the specific style I was looking for. I also bought 50 white LEDs for like $7 with free resistors at the value of my specification!
