Look like an alright piece of equipment.  You may want to found out what the sync range on that monitor is before you commit to buying it.

What should it be?

Depends on what you want it to do.

I would also have the seller verify what size it is...... even they question if it's a 25" or a 29".
That a huge difference when it come to mounting.
Have them post the TUBE numbers from the sticker on the back of the tube.

I don't think that monitor is capable of standard res (CGA), which makes it next to useless for most arcade games.  It's NOT the normal switchable CGA/EGA that Konami loved to use around that time, and I know some other games on the hardware Keyboard Mania ran on from that timeframe were in fact VGA, so it probably is a VGA monitor.

I don't think the seller knows much more about it.

If it follows the same numbering scheme as other Toshiba monitors from that timeframe, it is in fact a 29" (27" USA) monitor.  They tend to be pretty nice, but if it's VGA only, you won't be running 99% of games in native resolution on it.

Firebat, what sort of games do you prefer playing?

If you are into the new school of fighting games and shooters this will be a good monitor as it can do 640x480p if it is a VGA monitor?

Well, you can do this (http://)

<in bold baritone and vibrato> MO-NI-TOR WI-KI-I-I-I-I-I-I.  If no numbers bring anything, you could ask them to measure the damn diagonal of the tube.
