Title: SOLD - UK - Arcade cab for sale - 2 JAMMA games (both stay powered)
Post by: venkman on June 01, 2009, 12:05:07 pm
**** SORRY - THIS MACHINE IS NOW SOLD ****

the machine is for sale if anyone in the UK fancies a fully working arcade machine with games. reply here for more info :)

it has tumblepop and carrier air wing. both stay powered at teh same time and there's a button to switch between 'em. coins work too..

the machine is pretty clean, a couple scrapes.. slight dimming in the screen at the top right.
i could post more pics if anyone's interested.

Tumble Pop "It is considered a cult classic, game involves one or two ghost-busters who can suck monsters/ghosts into vacuum-cleaner-like devices and spit them back in a bouncing/rolling ball. Expelled enemies can be used as weapons that can result in bonus items when used to crush other enemies." platform...

this is a pic of when i had it in a bar, but it's in my studio now haha

US Navy - carrier air wing. "an excellent patriotic shoot 'em up from Capcom in 1990, with a wide array of planes to choose from, and frantic but fluid gameplay." side scroller ..

i reckon anywhere around £140 / 150 would do the trick. i'll take offers but i think that's not bad considering it all works and each game in there is easy worth £35 - £50. that would be for pick up - or i have a good / relaible hook up for door to door delivery that costs about £80.

Where about in the UK are you? Glasgow, UK

What monitor does the cab have in it?
i don't remember i'm afrid and i didn't take the keys today so can't get in to check - but i have a photo of the back - maybe you can figure it out ??

Does it have much screen burn?
the screen burn isn't too bad. it's not really burnt-in so much as the colour was kind of faded in one corner. i adjusted the colour settings and that seemed to make it better but i'll get a recent photo. it's the top LEFT of the screen - you can see from the pic i posted it's not that bad at all.

Rough dimensions?

28" screen
5' 8" tall
2 1/2' back
2 1/4' wide

I like that cab design. Only thing'd make it sharper...would be if the corners on the sides were rounded.
