Would they fit? I read that Randy said that the buttons are smaller, but I don't know if he was referring to the parts that get drilled into the wood.
Also is there another Happs button replacement for the "RED" kind? All they seem to have on the website is Yellow and Blue. I am not even sure from the picture if it is even possible to put lights on at all. Any suggestions about this...or any other option if I am wanting to get a lighted coin door...but yet keeping the heavy authentic feel?
Thanks in advance.

Ok, I'll bite
... why not just wire a microswitch to the coin eject button and light it with an LED? Why the need to fit a round peg in a square hole?
-
That's what I did. Works great and it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out.

So I take it you guys have this?
So you can use any color LED? Is it like a clear? This sounds great!
I just thought you had to have a particular color. I am just wanting to make a huge order so you guys are a big help if I can get everything in one shot!

Well no, although I don't have a new happs door, I am pretty sure that the plastic inserts are a solid color so no matter the color of the LED, you're stuck with the color of the plastic coin reject insert. Ginzu has a microswitch just behind his coin reject pushbutton, so whenever it's pushed a credit is ...credited.
.... but I just realized that this coin door is non-functioning and for asthetics and I don't think the buttons push in at all like a real coin door, so you probably couldn't place a microswitch behind the coin reject buttons. I was thinking that if you had LEDs running from a LED WIZ behind the coin reject buttons, it'd look pretty darn cool.

The problem is that the description is not very clear which could mean that the clear is also for asthetic purposes...so maybe the thing can't be lit up too!
I guess I will have to buy it and find out and then order something else later, but that is the hitch..if I do then I will have to buy twice from Happs..which means twice the hitiching.
-
I meant twice the SHIPPING. Typo.
-
fairplay thats a helluva typo
-
I know, I don't no where the hell I got that. Though I typed it a bit ago so who knows what was running through my brain at the time.
-
have you considered using that sticker coindoor thing that randy does, wasn't he gonna make one that you could put those novagems in
-
I have it on right now.
After my latest moving of the Arcade to another room I sit back and say....it sticks out like a sore thumb. Why not have something that looks more real!
but the question still remains...
-
Why don't you buy your Happ stuff from divemaster? His shipping is much more reasonable than Happ and he can get anything from Happ you need.

There is one problem with all of this...I have no clue what to buy!
Does Novagem fit the coin box?
Does this conbox have any kind of clear buttons that can be lit or is it ALL asthetic?
If it doesn't will it fit any other buttons?
What buttons will I buy if that is the case?
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

One more bump...still hoping someone has answers.

The dimensions for most things HAPPS are available. You could ask Randy for the dimensions for the buttons and then compare. It looks to me like there's a special bezel/facade that HAPPS came up with to make their buttons fit nicely on the door. One option, if things don't fit, is to take some plastic plate and cut your own bezel to make it work.

Yeah its looking more and more that I should just buy it then go from there. I thought about the bezel as well...hopefully it isn't that difficult. Perhaps customer service can help to see if happs sells the button..which I would think that they would.
