Title: t-molding question
Post by: RedSquirrel on July 05, 2003, 08:00:06 am
What tools (if any) do I need to install t-molding? A router? How much generally are these, or is it possible to do it with a knife or something.

Secondly, the only place I find selling t-molding is t-molding.com. As I am in the UK, I am expecting postage to work out quite a lot. Is it possible to buy it at any DIY stores?

thanks

Im off to buy a 1-1/8 drill bit soon. That will do the buttons and joystick too right? Thankies in advance  :)

There is always that other guy on eBay that makes t-molding (stievenart.com, I think), but he is US-based also.  At least you get 25-ft. instead of 20 from him *shrug*

Don't know where to get a router bit or the molding in UK, though (sorry).

1 1/8" will be fine for joys and buttons.. I recommend Forstner bits myself.

Ahh they look nicely priced on ebay. Would 25 foot be enough though for a standard sized cab? Ill email him and ask how much shipping would be.
