Title: Vector Game Settings
Post by: moonchilddave on May 24, 2009, 01:49:41 pm
Running .131 with Mamewah.  I had wanted to add scanlines to make the games look more realistic on my monitor so I added the "scanlines" effect in my MAME config file.  Only problem is vector games look like ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- with that.  Is there a way to disable that effect just for the vector games?

I read from other posters about a vector.ini

If this does not work, you can alternatively edit the individual game .ini's.

Get mameUI and select the vector folder and reset the effects for those games in total.

I'm using the command line mame and mamewah front end as this is going to be in a cabinet.  Just creating the vector.ini file in the main mame directory did the trick!  Thanks!
